After our longest trail day EVER (21 miles!), we hitched a ride into the classic and historic town of Julian. 1 free beer at Carmen’s Restaurant and then nice Italian at Romano’s. Our eyes were certainly bigger than our stomachs so we had pizza on the trail the next day.
Then, we returned to Carmen’s to sleep on the floor with a dozen other hikers!
