High above the Desert

18.5 miles today. Beautiful weather. Got to enjoy some “Trail Magic” a couple times today. Free cold drinks! Man, were they tasty! It was an up and down route all day long. Cool part was that we were on the ridge of mountains to the west of the Anzo-Borrego Desert which you can see behind us. We are camped among boulders with a great view. We have made it to mile 56.
