Day 29 – 20 miles (461 to 481)
Camp was set up 6 miles north of Hiker Heaven. Hiker Heaven is a base for PCT hikers in Agua Dulce CA. You can stay, do laundry, charge phones and batteries, and send and receive mail. The people that run it out of their house are amazing!
As we hiked toward Agua Dulce, we traveled through the amazing Vasquez Rocks State Park.
We were so busy at HH that we didn’t take pictures. We got our resupply and sent back things we didn’t need. They would have put us up in the couples suite but we were getting back on the trail.
Mike was especially happy to get a better pair of hiking pants and a more comfortable sleeping pad in the shipment from back home.
We did have time to have a nice meal at the Sweetwater Cafe. Also figured out that “Agua Dulce” means sweet water.
We’re turning up the miles. Today’s total of 20 was good, especially since Miles 18 and 19 were a 1000′ climb at the end of the day.
Off toward Hiker Town and the 500 mile mark.
ate at Sweetwater many times.

We got it last year from our neighbors when we were section hiking the Pacific Northwest Trail.
