Our trip will take us to Glasgow, the West Highland Way, Cairngorms National Park, the North Sea Coast, Loch Ness, and Edinburgh. We start in Glasgow where we will spend a couple days preparing for our walking tour of the West Highland Way through the Highlands of Scotland, UK.
We’ve been looking to travel abroad for some time. Before now, it’s been with a big backpack and tent camping on long trails mostly. This time we decided to go somewhere quite different that would not be quite so demanding.
The following posts will detail our days from leaving Port Ludlow through our walk and other explorations. We also plan to play golf once while in Scotland, on the coast of the North Sea – but not St Andrews – although we plan to visit that area, too.
